Bursaries

The  Honor Frost Foundation (HFF) is offering the opportunity for postgraduate students from the eastern Mediterranean region (Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt) to apply for support in the form of bursaries to present or attend the 5th Maritime Archaeology Graduate Symposium, being held in Nicosia, Cyprus on the 2–3 March 2023. Priority will be given to those presenting a paper. The bursary is €800, and it shall contribute to covering the expenses of traveling (including visas) and accommodation.

To apply, please complete the bursary application form by the 31st of December 2022.

Requirements:

• Eligible applicants must come from the HFF region (Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt).
• Applicants must be at Master or PhD level, in progress or recently awarded.

Conditions:

• Application must include a short CV.
• Successful applicants are required to submit a full report on the event, within two weeks of attending the conference.
