6th Maritime Archaeology Graduate Symposium
April 5th, 2024: We’re thrilled to announce that the MAGS 2025 will be hosted at the University of Ioannina in Greece for the very first time! This is organised by the Department of History and Archaeology and sponsored by the Honor Frost Foundation and the University of Ioannina.
August 1st, 2024: The dates and venue are out. Dates: 2-5 April, 2025. Venue: Ioannina University Campus. The International Centre of Hellenic Culture “Stavros Niarchos” – ” Dimitrios Glaros” amphitheatre.
September 2nd, 2024: The calls for papers and bursaries are now open. Deadline: November 1st, 2025.

December 4th, 2024: In light of the ongoing challenges in Lebanon, the Honor Frost Foundation and the MAGS 2025 Committee, decided to extend the paper submission deadline and offer a special digital session exclusively for presenters based in Lebanon. Deadline: January 4, 20025

Eligibility: Open to presenters currently residing in Lebanon and are directly impacted by the circumstances in the region.
